BIRLA ESTATES

Celebrating Mumbai’s architectural heritage

The growth of Mumbai, from seven separate islands to one of the world's largest cities, can be traced through its architectural landmarks—some long gone, others still standing, and new ones just taking shape. Each of these landmarks has left a lasting impact on a city that never stops rising and surging ahead. This evolution was the inspiration behind Birla Estates’ Mumbai Rising, a public art project celebrating the city's remarkable journey and its iconic structures.

It was an absolute honour to have brought this mural project to life in collaboration with a host of talented artists and art collectives along Mumbai's iconic P.B. Marg in Lower Parel.
